MOREHEAD CITY CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING
December 02, 5:30 PM – Katherine Davis Park, 601 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557
Bring the family for music, games, hot chocolate, and a chance to possibly see Santa Claus at the Morehead City Christmas Tree lighting! The festivities will start at 5:30 pm. RSVP for the Morehead City Christmas Tree Lighting
ATLANTIC BEACH LIGHT UP THE NIGHT CHRISTMAS PARADE
December 2, 2022, at 6:00 PM – 915 W Fort Macon Road – 100 E Fort Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC 28512
The Town of Atlantic Beach is excited to announce the “Light Up the Night” Christmas Parade. You’re invited to show your Christmas spirit and be a participant. Interested parties should complete the Parade Entry Form. This year the parade will begin at the Atlantic Beach Town Park and head east down W Fort Macon Road to the Atlantic Beach Circle.

WATERFOWL WEEKEND

The annual celebration of Down East’s traditions begins Friday evening with the Island’s “Bring Back the Lights” opening night and a new event, Core Sound Chow Down.
The first weekend of December has grown to be the Island’s homecoming weekend with the Decoy Festival at the school, craft sales all along the way, yard sales, fund-raisers, and Down East hospitality every mile of the way.
Saturday will offer everything from scallop fritters to sweet puppies, artists, and carvers, an online auction, and the next day, Sunday morning church.
BREAKFAST WITH SANTA

Santa and Mrs. Clause will make a morning appearance at Floyd’s 1921 on Saturday, December 3rd. Make reservations for a family breakfast with time for your kids to share their Christmas lists with Santa himself!
Reservations for Breakfast with Santa can be made by contacting Floyd’s restaurant directly. Three seatings will be available, 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 am.

ANNUAL BEAUFORT NC CHRISTMAS PARADE

Small-town parade brings big-time family fun with the annual Beaufort Christmas Parade along Front Street. Beaufort’s Annual Christmas Parade takes place on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11 am. Beaufort’s own Sweet Potato Queens are one reason why Travel + Leisure named Beaufort one of the “Quirkiest Towns in America.”
BEAUFORT HISTORIC SITE GINGERBREAD WORKSHOP

Parents, bring your child Saturday, December 3 at 10 a.m. to decorate a pre-built gingerbread house! We will have all the goodies and icing to decorate in style! They will be able to take them home with them afterward. Each child needs to be able to follow directions and work independently. Open to children ages 6-10.
HOLIDAY ORNAMENT WORKSHOP

The Cottage has partnered with Wine & Design to host a Holiday Ornament Workshop experience on Friday, December 9th, from 6 – 9 pm from The Cottage’s breathtaking oceanfront deck.
Enjoy a delicious holiday beverage and complimentary charcuterie while you create your resin starfish ornament set on The Cottage’s breathtaking oceanfront deck. Design a personalized ornament set to hang on your tree this year or gift to a loved one.
General Admission ticket includes materials to create (4) gorgeous resin-poured starfish ornaments and a complimentary charcuterie snack. Cash bar available to purchase holiday beverages for you to enjoy. Outside alcohol is prohibited for this event.

10TH ANNUAL GINGERBREAD FESTIVAL AND COMPETITION
December 10, 2022, and December 11, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM – Crystal Coast Civic Center, 3505 Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC 28557
Stroll through a winter wonderland of decorated crab pot trees and gingerbread houses created with love by the community. All proceeds from the event benefit SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House.
BEAUFORT HOLIDAY ART WALK
December 10, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM – 150 Turner Street, Beaufort, NC 28516
Enjoy a festive day in Historic Downtown Beaufort, NC., from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Come celebrate the season and enjoy viewing a wide variety of art from regional artists throughout many of the downtown shops, galleries, and restaurants. CHRISTMAS CANDLELIGHT HOMES TOUR
December 10, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM – 150 Turner Street, Beaufort, NC 28516
Tour private homes and ride on the decked-out double-decker bus. Homeowners, churches, and inns will open their doors so the public can delight in their festive décor and decorations. The Beaufort Historic Site buildings will also be open. While the tour is walkable, the double-decker bus will be stopping on a route and dropping folks off.

Celebrate the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023 with a blast! Fort Macon will once again be firing off its big guns in celebration of the new year. Live entertainment will be starting at 6 pm and the cannons will be fired at 7 pm sharp. Bring a folding chair and a picnic meal!
