BEACHFRONT EGG HUNT
April 1st, 2023 | Free Event | The Circle in Atlantic Beach
Egg hunts will be divided by age group.
- The Toddler Zone for ages 0-3 year-olds will begin at 10:15 a.m.
- 4 to 7-year-olds begin at 10:20 a.m.
- 8 to 12-year-olds begin at 10:30 a.m.
Please respect the age limits and be courteous to your fellow egg hunters. BYOB: Bring your own basket. Free photos with the Easter bunny will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This event is “mist or shine,” meaning we will still offer the egg hunt as long as there is light rain only. Admission is free, and tickets are not required. If someone offers to sell you a ticket to the Beachfront Egg Hunt, please consider it fraud. Parking and restrooms are available at The Circle (115 Atlantic Blvd.)

BITES AND BLUES
April 1st, 2023 | Tickets go on sale March 3, 2023 | Downtown Morehead City

BEND AND BREW SATURDAYS
Recurring weekly on Saturday, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM | $15 per person (includes one beverage) | Crystal Coast Brewing Company in Atlantic Beach | 219 West Fort Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC.
Join us for an all-level yoga practice syncing breath and movement at Crystal Coast Brewing Company’s Atlantic Beach Taproom! Locally brewed beers and mimosas are available for anyone over 21. Don’t drink? No worries, non-alcoholic beverages are also available.

April 5th, 2023, 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM | FREE | North Carolina Maritime Museum | 315 Front Street, Beaufort, NC.

LIVING SHIPWRECK SHARK FEED PROGRAM AT PINE KNOLL SHORES
April 7, 2023 – Recurring weekly on Fridays from 3:15 PM – 3:30 PM | $ Admission to the Aquarium | NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores
Learn about the animals that inhabit the Living Shipwreck, a 306,000-gallon saltwater habitat at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. Red drum, crevalle jacks, spadefish, sheepshead, and sharks all live together. Watch as staff feed the fish and also feed the sharks during the program.

BEACHCOMBING
April 10, 2023 – Recurring weekly on Monday, 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM| $15 | Pine Knoll Shores, NC 25812
Take a hike with Aquarium naturalists as they guide you through this important ecosystem to discover incredible shells, plant and animal life, and other organisms you may find at the beach. Ages 5 and up. A paying adult must accompany children 17 and under. This program requires you to provide your transportation to the beachcombing location. The combing location will be disclosed upon registration.

LIVING SHIPWRECK SHARK FEED PROGRAM AT PINE KNOLL SHORES
April 11, 14, 21, 28, 2023 – Recurring weekly on Fridays from 3:15 PM – 3:30 PM | $ Admission to the Aquarium | NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores

April 15, 2023 – 1:00 PM to 4 PM | $5 | New Bern Battlefield Park – 300 Battlefield Trail
Hands-on living history for the entire family, with Civil War reenactors, drills, displays, games, crafts, and more! The cost is $5 per child or adult, a max of $20 for a family of any size.
Harry Goodman Battlefield Adventure Day is an annual springtime event for the entire family held at the New Bern Battlefield Park, 300 Battlefield Trail. This Saturday afternoon event is filled with learning activities and living history. Young recruits and their parents are greeted by re-enactors from the 5th, 7th, and 26th NC Regiments, 35th US Colored Troops, and artillery troops. The newly enlisted recruits participate in practice drills, Civil War period camp activities, crafts, and games. Adults and teens will enjoy living history presentations and a walking battlefield tour. The afternoon’s activities will conclude with an exciting mock battle reenactment that includes the children, a live-fire cannon demonstration, and fresh hot apple crisp made by the participants. The young recruits will “muster out” and receive their pay for their service. Click here for a complete list of activities.

BEACH SCAVENGER HUNT

Take a stroll on the beach with a Park Ranger to see what we can find. We’ll be hunting for everything from drift beans to sea glass, and of course seashells.

Since its inception in 2005, Beaufort Wine and Food has focused on a core group of local charities as recipients of the proceeds earned from its event. Let your tastebuds come alive with the culinary delights of local chefs while you sample a variety of wines. This is an annual event!

Beaufort Wine and Food Festival: Vin de Mer

Must be 21+ years old to attend. Beaufort Wine and Food’s largest single event! Grab small bites from some of your favorite local Carteret County chefs and enjoy new flavors from those visiting.
