Fall Events on the Crystal Coast
As the sweltering heat of summer changes over to breezy days and crisp nights, all living things who dwell on the Crystal Coast will notice and emerge from their hiding. Including fish, you may not see during the summer and other wildlife. Gorgeous pink, purple and orange sunsets paint the sky making it easy to have lazy late afternoons. These are just some of the few reasons many call Fall their favorite season on the Crystal Coast.
Although we have been in the midst of a pandemic, life seems to still go on in the Crystal Coast.
Many events have been scheduled for the fall such as Fishing and Golf Tournaments, Highland Games, Fall Festivals and much more. You will also find that towards the end of the summer the wild horses that roam some of the islands of the Crystal Coast will have foals. This is the perfect time to take the ferry over to Shackleford Banks to see the horses or find shells on the shore of Cape Lookout. The crowds are gone and the beach is yours for the taking. Even your dog will be able to enjoy the beach! Enjoy a morning stroll on the beach or even relax with a book in the afternoon. After your time on the beach be sure to grab dinner with the sunset at one of the many waterfront restaurant locations such as Southern Salt Seafood, Sanitary, 34 North, and many more.
