About Dan
Although I was born and raised in North Carolina Piedmont, I have always vacationed at Atlantic Beach and Morehead City, or, as we know it, the truly beautiful Crystal Coast. I grew up fishing the coastal waters and know them very well. I am an avid outdoor sportsman and really enjoy the fish, game, and waterfowl this state has to offer. I have a boat or two and try to use them as much as possible. I really love catching, preparing, and especially eating seafood. I have adult children living in other towns with similar interests and really enjoy spending time with them. Naturally, they love having a place to stay when they visit Dad at the beach. (I never knew how many friends I had until I moved here).

Q: Why do you like being part of Bluewater Real Estate, and why did you choose to be a Bluewater Agent?
A: I really like being part of the Bluewater Real Estate Atlantic Beach team. I have been familiar with the Bluewater brand on the Crystal Coast for years. I had talked with a long-time friend and agent about some coastal properties and began to ask questions about the firm and how he liked it, etc. I had made plans to move to Carteret County, recently gotten my broker’s license, and decided Bluewater was my best choice. It has proven to be a great one! They are an absolutely great bunch of folks to work with
Q: What energizes you outside of work?
A: Things that energize me outside of work include anything outdoors. Living on the coast, I naturally love boating and fishing. There are also several great golf courses in the area that I enjoy playing.
Q: What led you to real estate?
A: I decided to give real estate a try after 30-plus years in the automobile business. I actually had a real estate sales license when I lived here back in the 90s and never used it. I feel like I am really good at assessing people’s needs and enjoy helping them find something they really love.
