THE GARDENS NIGHT MARKET
September 6, 2022 – 6 PM until 9 PM
Join Carolina Home and Garden on the first and third Tuesday of each month for Carolina Home and Garden Night Vendor Market featuring 15-20 local artists, live music, yummy food, drinks, and so much more!
CRYSTAL COAST GRAND PRIX
September 9, 2022 – September 11, 2022 – Times Vary Daily
Join the return of the “Crystal Coast Grand Prix – Race” inspired by a boyhood passion that has become an extremely popular event on the Morehead City Waterfront. A small group of volunteers put together an event for the locals and guests and invited participants from every corner of the United States.
SECOND-SATURDAY CONCERT SERIES – CIRCLE CITY ROCKERS
September 10, 2022 – 6:30 PM until 8 PM
Located at the Martin Luther King, Jr. City Park in downtown Morehead City, enjoy this free performance by the Circle City Rockers. Bring the whole family for a night of live music, food trucks, and fun in Downtown Morehead City!
SOUND HARVEST FALL EXPERIENCE
September 10, 2022 – 10:30 AM until 3 PM
Enjoy fresh locally sourced produce and seafood from Crystal Coast farmers paired with hand-selected wine with breathtaking ocean views at the Sound Harvest Fall Experience. All prepared by locally renowned Chefs and the Carteret Community College Culinary Arts students that will design and create each mouthwatering sample.
CAVIAR FARM TOUR AT MARSHALLBERG FARM
September 16, 2022 – 2 PM until 4 PM
Tour the sturgeon farm, taste the caviar, and enjoy friendly conversation with staff. Products will be available for purchase. The Caviar Farm Tour at Marshallberg Farm includes an in-depth tour of the indoor R.A.S. sturgeon farm, caviar tasting with Social House Vodka, sampling of smoked sturgeon products, and an opportunity to speak to staff and purchase Marshallberg Farm products.
BEAUFORT PIRATE INVASION 2022
September 23, 2022 – September 25, 2022 – Times Vary Daily
Annual Beaufort Pirate Invasion at Gallants Channel. Encampment, shows, vendors, music, sea battles, and more! The admission fee is reasonable at $10 for adults and children that can “walk under the Plank” will enter free. Almost 200 professional performers are slated for this year including professional magicians, swordfighters, pirate musicians too many to count, bullwhip demos, black powder demos with cannons, cannons, and more cannons! Family-friendly comedy shows, living history displays and reenactments, stilt walkers, mermaids, peg-legged pirates, blacksmithing, axe/ knife throwing and so much more.
EMERALD ISLE BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL
September 24, 2022 – 10:30 AM until 6 PM
After a long hiatus, the Carolina beach music festival is back and better than ever! This year’s FREE Emerald Isle Beach Music Festival is on Saturday, September 24th, at the Western Ocean Regional Beach Access.
5TH ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST
September 24, 2022 – 3 PM until 6 PM
Save the date for Shortway Brewing’s 5th Annual Oktoberfest. Enjoy festive beers, competitive games, a costume contest, and more!
2ND ANNUAL FALL ARTS FESTIVAL
September 25, 2022 – 10 AM until 3 PM
Join The Market at Cedar Point for their Second Annual Fall Arts Festival, presented by Seaside Arts Council and The Market at Cedar Point! Kick off the Fall season ‘Under The Sails!’ Enjoy over 25 local art vendors, live music, food trucks, a coffee shop, and a pumpkin patch!
36TH ANNUAL NORTH CAROLINA SEAFOOD FESTIVAL
September 30, 2022 – October 2, 2022 – Times Vary Daily
The largest three-day festival in North Carolina, the NC Seafood Festival will have an endless variety of seafood prepared in a multitude of ways, street dances, concerts, arts, and crafts (about 200 total vendors), Flounder Fling and an International Award-Winning Chef’s Tent, educational exhibits, hands-on programs for kids, rides, and games. Saturday night fireworks are enjoyed by festival goers and neighbors alike. The festivities are spread from the North Carolina State Port to 11th Street on the beautiful Morehead City waterfront. Free parking is available at the port on Saturday and Sunday with shuttles transporting festivalgoers to the fun. Admission is always free but bring cash for all the extras that will tempt your wallet!
