The holiday season is right at our back door and with it is the season of giving. Many families like to share in this season of giving with their neighbors, coworkers, and family friends. We wanted to put together something that you might be able to reference for easy gift ideas to give them!
First off there are a lot of uses for leftover mason jars and even Pringle cans.
Reindeer Chow
INGREDIENTS
- 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup dry brownie mix or 1 cup powdered sugar mixed with 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 bag Christmas M&M’s 12-ounce bag
- 2 cups mini peanut butter cups
- 2 cups pretzel twists

Friendship Soup Mix (Makes 12 Servings)
1 Mason Jar
1/4 cup beef bouillon granules
1/4 cup dried minced onion
2 Teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
1/3 uncooked wild rice
1/3 uncooked long-grain white or brown rice
1/2 cup dried green split peas
1/2 cup dried lentils
1/2 cup elbow macaroniÂ
1- 1 1/2 cup rotini pasta
HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE FRIENDSHIP SOUP JAR
To assemble your Friendship Soup Mason Jar Gift, layer each ingredient in the order listed above in a 1-quart wide-mouth jar. Be sure to use a jar with a tight-fitting lid like that found on a canning jar or a flip-top jar. Firmly pack down between each layer. Seal the jar and then attach this cute gift tag with ribbon or twine and top with a bow.
