July 2, 2022 – 9 AM until 2 PM
Enjoy a variety of local artists and crafters at The Market at Cedar Point! This is a great opportunity to shop local handmade items for your home, and gifts for friends and family. Find local baked goods, CBD products, seasonal produce, fresh bread, Alpaca products, baked goods, cookies, pies, Lion’s Mane mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, pasture-raised beef, chicken, and pork, goat milk products, and fresh eggs. Dog friendly – just make sure your pup is leashed.

WESTERN CARTERET FIREWORKS CELEBRATION
July 3, 2022 – 6 PM until 10 PM
The towns of Bogue, Cape Carteret, Cedar Point, Emerald Isle, and Peletier are pleased to present the inaugural Western Carteret Fireworks Celebration on Sunday, July 3, 2022.
July 4, 2022 – 9 PM until 10 PM
Gallants Channel Event Space
There is a paid observation area ($10 per car) at the Maritime Museum’s Gallants Channel location – this is to benefit programs. There are lots of other free areas to observe the fireworks display. This 4th of July event is sponsored by the Beaufort Businesses Association.
4TH OF JULY PARADE IN BEAUFORT
July 4, 2022 – 11 AM until 12:30 PM

A Beaufort tradition and crowd favorite, the Fourth of July Parade steps off at Gordon Street at 11 a.m. The parade continues downtown along the beautiful Beaufort waterfront. The parade always draws some of the most creative minds in town, including Beaufort’s very own Sweet Potato Queens decked out in their crazy costumes. Kids, pets, wagons, and so much more make up this annual Beaufort event. Co-sponsored by the Beaufort Development Association and the Town of Beaufort, the parade always attracts many floats.
July 4, 2022 – 10:30 AM until 4 PM
Fort Macon State Park
Meet at the Fort to learn about some of the different cannons used in Ft. Macon and how they function. Programs will conclude with a blank firing demonstration. Cannon firing demonstrations will be held at 10:30, 11:30, 1:30, 2:30, & 3:30, and a different cannon will be fired for almost every session.
JULY 4TH FIREWORKS IN ATLANTIC BEACH
July 4, 2022 – 7 PM until 10 PM
201 W. Atlantic Beach Blvd.
Join us for live music by Robert McDuffy from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Circle on Monday, July 4, 2022. Firepits will be stationed on the beach and smores’ kits will be for sale. Afterward, fireworks will begin promptly at 9 p.m. The Atlantic Beach Fireworks are set off from the beachfront and can be seen all throughout the Town.
2ND ANNUAL CRYSTAL COAST WATERMELON FESTIVAL
July 9, 2022 – 3 PM until 7 PM
Join us on July 9th for the 2nd Annual Crystal Coast Watermelon Festival. The festival will feature live music, a watermelon judging contest, sidewalk chalk art, locally grown watermelons for sale, craft and artisan vendors, food trucks, and fun for the whole family! Free-Town of Cape Carteret.
