BIO
My husband and I moved our three small children from Pennsylvania to Emerald Isle in 1988. There were only 800 permanent residents, and homes on the ocean side could be purchased for under $100,000! Emerald Isle has blossomed since then! I joined Bluewater in 1989 and have really enjoyed working with and helping buyers and sellers over the last 33+ years. In 2016 I was moved to the Broker-In-Charge position in the Emerald Isle office, and I manage about 25 super, knowledgeable, and professional agents whom I love working with.
The owners of Bluewater, Woody Warren, and Sherrell Futral are constantly striving to give us the best tools and atmosphere to work in, which has kept us at the top of the sales and rental markets in this area for years. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, including our 10 grandchildren, traveling, playing tennis, church activities, and learning sign language. Boating and water activities in this area have also been fun over the years.
Prior to moving here, I was a PE teacher, and the Womens swim coach at a Division 2 University in Pennsylvania.
Please call me and I will be glad to help you get started with your real estate needs here at the North Carolina Coast. It is a great place to live!
FUN FACTS ABOUT ME
After college, I worked as a stewardess on a Barefoot Windjammer Cruise Ship out of the Bahamas.
I was a 16 time All American swimmer in college in the '70s, 4-time National Champion, and held 2 National records.
I met Muhammed Ali in 1978 when he was training for his fight against Leon Spinks. My friend and I got to hang out with him two times with just the three of us for hours each time!
