Josh Hopfer was born in Camp Lejeune and raised in Swansboro, spending the first 19 years of his life on the Crystal Coast. After four years of playing varsity soccer at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Josh served six years as an Aviation Maintenance Officer, attaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Following his military service, he worked as a Senior Planner for Midway Airlines in Raleigh, NC, managing a fleet of 737s.

 

After 9/11, Josh transitioned into sales with ValleyCrest Companies, the nation’s largest landscape firm, and held various roles in multiple markets before moving to West Palm Beach, FL, in 2018. In 2024, Josh returned to the Crystal Coast to be closer to family and friends and to embrace all that Eastern North Carolina offers. He holds active real estate licenses in both Florida and North Carolina. Josh is eager to introduce you to the area he proudly calls home and assist you in finding your perfect new home.
