My first experience with the Crystal Coast in 1985 while vacationing in Emerald Isle led me to fall in love with the area and move here four years later. I have resided in Carteret County for just under 20 years. I still find the views breathtaking and peaceful and the wildlife a wonder. I am an alumnus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Psychology.

My education did not lead me to work in those fields. Still, I was able to apply it during my administrative work for a large state law publishing company in Charlottesville, Virginia, and a local sporting goods distributor located in Newport, NC. Before becoming a Realtor, I serviced the medical community, including Carteret Clinic for Children and Adolescents and Beach Care of Havelock, performing medical transcription.

In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, walking, canoeing, and visiting my family, who live in Maine, Virginia, Florida, and Ohio. Because I live on the coast, they love to come and visit regularly. One of my clients said they would miss their home, but now it would be “someone else’s dream.” I would love to assist you in your transition, whether buying or selling; it would be my pleasure to help your home become “someone else’s dream.”
