Almond House is a 3 Bedroom, 2 Full and 1 Half Bath Oceanfront Cottage! Located at the popular "Point" area in Emerald Isle, this home is within minutes of dining, shopping and activities. This home is located at the far west end of the island, offering an expansive and sweeping stretch of sandy beach. During the off-season, explore the coast via the beach driving access located just next to the house. Equipped with High Speed Wireless Internet for your convenience!

Level One: Bedroom #1 has Queen bed with Ocean Views, Full Bathroom attached, and TV. Half bath. Kitchen. Breakfast nook with seating for 4. Dining area with seating for 10 and bar seating for 2. Living area with Great Views of the Ocean.

Level Two: Bedroom #2 has one Queen bed and two Twin beds. Bedroom #3 has a Queen bed with Ocean Views. Full Bath.

Additional Amenities included: High Speed Wireless Internet, 2 TV¡s, Stereo, DVD Player, CD Player, Central Heat and Air, Washer/Dryer, Water Treatment System, Iron and Ironing Board, Hot/Cold Outdoor Shower, Covered Parking, Fish Cleaning Station.

No Smoking.

Up to 2 dogs allowed with $150 + tax Pet Fee per Dog. It is the responsibility of pet owners to ensure that they clean up after their pets (i.e., picking up waste from property grounds). Should the guest fail to do so, an additional fee of $100 will be charged to the credit card on file.

Linens and Towels are provided with Beds Made for Weekly stays.

Beautiful location and lovely home. It literally was our 'home away from home' for our week due to evacuating from Hurricane Ida that damaged New Orleans and the surrounding area. Weather was perfect too!

The Almond House is fantastic! It was very clean and spacious. The views are amazing! There is ample parking on a quiet street. We are a family that cooks on vacation, so I was pleased with how well the kitchen was equipped. The house itself is wonderful for a vacation. I am giving it 4 stars out of f5 only because of the distance to the ocean. Even though it is oceanfront it is quite a walk to the water which is not convenient. Other than that distance this house is a winner!

Location is perfect! Great for bird watching with the bird sanctuary right on the point, star watching/telescopes, kites and fishing. House has spectacular views.

This was our second stay at the Almond House. We love the views and the beach is beautiful. There's not a lot of people on the beach either. It's within a ten minute drive of grocery's, shopping, gas station, restaurants and activities both indoor and out. As with any rental I would recommend if you're going to be cooking to bring your favorite pan (especially non stick) as well as knives and measuring spoons and cups. Otherwise they pretty much have the rest. We always buy water for drinking including making coffee. We liked the fish market in Swansboro they had the best prices and always really fresh.

Almond House was spectacular. The view is impeccable with both sound and ocean side views. It may be the only house on all of Emerald Isle with that kind of view. The kitchen is more than sufficient to accommodate cooking for all the guests. Due to the location, the beach is almost private and you can expect 200 feet of sand between you and the next group on the beach. It is a bit of a walk to get to the ocean, but the walk is by protected sand dunes with nesting sea birds and that only adds to the experience. There is very little public parking in the area so the only traffic will be people renting or living at houses in the neighborhood. The only exception to this will be at sunset, when people ignore the parking rules and a few dozen people show up in groups (families) to watch the sunset. Really... people make a special evening trip to this location to watch the sunset that you get to watch out of the windows or on the deck each night. It's a great place. We will be back.

It's all about location, location, location! The views of the ocean/inlet/sound are spectacular. Watch the sun rise or set and be awed by the beauty (from your back deck or any window). The house is homey, well decorated and stocked. I truly believe this is the best house on the point!
