Blue Whale is a 4-Bedroom, 4 1/2-Bath home on three levels. It features a Private Hot Tub and an Elevator (to all levels)! Located just across the street from the Ocean Access with beautiful Views! Blue Whale is located right down the street from Bluewater in the heart of Emerald Isle. Vacationers can bike or walk to miniature golf, go karts, gift shops, the movie theater, book store (and more!) at Emerald Plantation. There are restaurants, bars and ice-cream stores located within a 15 minute walk or a five minute car ride. The Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier is approximately a 1/4 mile walk on the beach. No excuse for not exercising on vacation! Just a few blocks from the house are paved paths for running, biking, or rollerblading. Bike and kayak/SUP/surfboard rental stores are very close and convenient. High Speed Wireless Internet Access Provided! (Bring your own computer.)

Ground Level: Large Game Room has a Sofa, a Color Cable TV, a Pool Table, and a Foosball Table. Half-Bath. Laundry Room. Garage. Outside Area has an Enclosed Hot/Cold Outdoor Shower. Gas Grill. Color TV.

Level One: Bedroom #1 has a Queen Bed, a Full-Bath and Oceanview Deck access. Bedroom #2 has a Queen Bed, a Full-Bath and Oceanview Deck access. Bedroom #3 is street side and has 2 Twin Bunk Sets and a Full-Bath.

Level Two: Open Living Area has a Gas Log Fireplace and expansive Ocean Views. Dining Area. Kitchen has a Microwave and a Dishwasher. Bedroom #4 has a King Bed and a Full-Bath.

We started renting the Blue Whale in 2006 and have rented it for 13 years at Emerald Isle. What was appealing at first was being pet friendly but we no longer have our furry friend but we love the layout of house and its amenities. As we get older, the elevator is a great help for putting the luggage on, etc. to take to each floor. We like that each bedroom has its own bathroom too. It has been a perfect house for our family and our two grand children love the bunk bed room. The owners do a great job with the “up keep” of the house which brings us back each year.

This home has very easy access to the beach and the shops at Emerald Isle. The Pier is in walking distance. The house is maintained very well. We enjoyed playing pool, sitting in the hot tube, and drinking coffee outside in one of the rocking chairs.

Blue Whale is perfect for our family! We have a special needs family member who loves to sit on the porch and feel the wind on his face! It's so lovely to see him enjoy such a little thing so much. The elevator is a godsend and being so close to the walkway to the beach is essential for us. The house is always very clean and I love the upgrades of the last couple of years. This house was exceptional for our family including a guest who is in a wheelchair fulltime. The elevator measurements were accurate. The house was also pet friendly and smartly designed and well furnished compared to other homes we have stayed at. The game room was a huge bonus for those rainy hours. Hot tub was great too. House is also located very close to CVS and groceries. Highly recommended.

Great having baths with every bedroom
A plus having extra entertainment in game room on first floor and puzzles, books etc in kids room
Terrific view of the ocean and wonderful having boardwalk access to beach across the street

The Blue Whale is a great home with great ocean views. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. Parking was very convenient and a garage was provided. Also, the property is in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. I will definitely rent again.

Everyone was very comfortable because all bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Also having access to the garage was nice. Parking was very convenient. We will definitely rent again.

Blue Whale is a very nice, clean home that seems to be well maintained. Mom and I love to bring our dogs on vacation; we appreciate the opportunity to do so. Blue Whale has a nice yard for the dogs and easy beach access just across the street. We really enjoyed the place, including the beautiful view.

Great house for our family of adults, infants and dogs. The elevator really came in handy to transport luggage and babies to the top floor. Walking path nearby was useful for walking dogs. Having beach access directly access the street was wonderful. Because of the great view of the ocean, hours were spent on the deck in the rocking chairs. Keyless entry made it easy for all adults to come and go as they pleased. The pool table was utilized for pool tournaments in the evening. The house was very clean. We enjoyed the color schemes and decorations.

This was our 4th stay on EI and first in Blue Whale, and this was our favorite home yet. It is clean and comfortable, and the furnishings are modern. We enjoy cooking, and were pleased to find the kitchen exceptionally well equipped with quality cookware and all the utensils we needed - even a pizza wheel. The ocean view was good and the walk to the beach was nothing.
