The 'Carolina' cottage is wonderful with many areas for small group family conversation areas. It is very clean and in excellent maintenance shape.

We've been coming to this area, Pine Knoll Shores and Emerald Isle, for almost 40 years. We've rented MANY condos and beach houses, but this is the first one that felt like a home! We loved every minute of our time here. It was comfortable and roomy - every detail was perfect!

This is the second year we have stayed in Carolina with 2022 being our first experience. We enjoyed it IMMENSELY last year, and the property again delivered this year...The ice machine is a game changer. My sister stayed somewhere without one and went through 11 bags in one week!

This is our 4^th time staying in Carolina; our first stay was in 2015. After that, staying somewhere else just didn't compare. Coming back to Carolina always feels like coming back home. The back porch compares to no other. Can't tell you how many relaxing evenings and mornings we've spent there together talking and eating...We love it!

Carolina was an absolutely perfect home-we had our daughter's wedding at the Watson House on Saturday and having a week of fun before the wedding with family and friends was ideal! Many homes were rented by family in Dolphin's Ridge and everyone loved this home the best! We own our own home in Deer Horn Dunes for over 44 years so we love our EI!

This home was the perfect place for three generations of our family. The layout gave everyone space to relax without bothering others. We are grateful to the owners for the pool membership, golf cart, and the ice maker! Beds were comfortable giving grandparents a good night's rest, enabling them to play with school-age grandkids. The Carolina property was a great home away from home - full of all the necessary appliances and dishes in the kitchen, plenty of space and the ice maker was a great touch. The living space was comfortable and outside space was great, and the game room downstairs gave the kids plenty of fun.

This home was spotless, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for a week away. We loved the proximity to the pool and beach, as well as the privacy the home provided too. We've visited Emerald Isle yearly for a decade, and this home, by far, was the most perfect and most enjoyable!

This home is lovely and so comfortable. We particularly enjoy that the kitchen is so well-equipped since our family enjoys cooking. Having an ice machine is wonderful. The kids love that there is a pool table, basketball, fooseball and other games (the adults do, too). This property is excellent.

We have rented coastal properties from Virginia to South Carolina. Carolina (which is tough to swallow as an NC State alumnus) is the best equipped property we have ever rented. We are not go-out-to-eat-every-night types of folks, so having a well-equipped kitchen is imperative. Carolina features 2 pantries with a huge amount of storage. There are numerous cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc., all in very good condition. Additionally, there are 2 golf carts to haul all of your stuff to the beach walkover, which is a wonderful convenience. We have a 4-wheel-drive truck, so we purchase a beach driving permit and spend most of our beach time at The Point fishing, walking, and shell hunting. This property is only a couple of miles from The Point. The beds are comfortable and the walk-in laundry room is a plus. Carolina is affordable, convenient, and well-equipped.

Great cottage! Open floor plan on main level. Great game room with full bath on lower level. Very nice deck and patio area. Upper level arrangement great for 2 families with children. Very comfortable. Ample seating. The kitchen was exceptionally stocked for those that like to cook.Having golf carts made getting to the very easy. We would definitely rent again!

Carolina is a beautiful, top-notch property. It is a very short walk to the club pool and a quick walk to the beach - but the two golf carts made it even easier to get to the beach and get our belongings set up every day. We were pleasantly surprised to find four beach chairs in the garage and a variety of sand toys and buckets, etc under the outdoor bar for our kids to use. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and there isn't a thing that it needed that we weren't able to find. It was a pleasant surprise to find a well-stocked spice cabinet, since usually you can't count on there being any spices in a rental property. The step stools in the kids' bathroom were a thoughtful touch. There was ample fridge/freezer space between the kitchen and garage fridges. The beds were incredibly comfortable. There was no shortage of puzzles and board games for people of any age for a rainy day. We really appreciated how comfortable and relaxing the home was. We spent many hours chatting and reading on the covered part of the deck and loved watching otters, ducks, turtles, frogs, birds, and a raccoon down at the pond. The raccoon was very determined to get into the trash can and even got the bungee cord off one night, but fortunately he did not make too much of a mess.

This home was amazing! Very comfortable and extremely well stocked. They had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen is very well stocked. Only item that we didn't find is a crockpot but the house has every other imaginable item that you might need to cook for a crowd. We can't wait to go back!

Six women - 4 from various parts of North Carolina and 2 from Detroit, Michigan gather here in this beautifully scenic 'Carolina' home for a four day prayer retreat. The retreat theme is "Praying Women, Stay and Rise Up." It is interesting because along with the theme, many of God's creatures also rise up intermittently in the pond outside as we break for lunch and dinner.<BR>What a wonderful experience this has been for us! This is so serenely peaceful! You asked for suggestions to make 'Carolina' better… Here's one, don't change a thing! We are much refreshed & energized. <BR>

We loved the light, airy feeling for the house and the wonderful porches. The golf cart and club pool were nice to have. The kitchen was "to die for" and very well equipped with everything needed to cook meals for 10. The icemaker is a nice addition. We really couldn't find anything we didn't like about the house or amenities.

Beautiful and spacious home perfect for large groups with or without children. Thoughtfully stocked with absolutely everything we needed and more. Kids played on the large covered porches around three sides of the house during rain showers. Pool and beach were so close and it was fun watching the geese, turtles, fish and beaver (we think) in the pond out back. Best vacation house ever!

The wonderful homeowners of Carolina donated their home to benefit several young men for a celebratory retreat as they concluded a program sponsored through the Swansboro Rotary. The boys and counselors enjoyed every aspect of the home. They loved the beachy decor, quite neighborhood and every amenity the home had to offer. Most of their time was spent in the game room, hot tub, lounging on the outdoor decks, hitting the beach or making a splash in the Community Pool. Having the Emerald Isle Pool Club and beach access just within walking distance was a huge plus to this home. Carolina beach house is an immaculate home and would be a great place for any family retreat or beach vacation!

My husband and I were so very pleased with this home from the moment we pulled up...great curb appeal that is not just on the outside alone...this home is absolutely wonderful and has so many amenities!!! Very nicely decorated and welcoming in all aspects. We had a wonderful time on the golf cart going to the beach and "cruising" around the beautiful and quiet subdivision of Dolphin Ridge looking at the abundant wildlife on the island. I have stayed in many homes with Bluewater over the last 15 years and can tell you from great experience that this home is a "gem" along the Crystal Coast. This house was just as it was described. The decor is lovely, the location was perfect, and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were in the area to greet our son as he returned from deployment with the USMC, and we felt as if we were staying in the home of a friend. We would definitely work with Bluewater and stay here again!

This home was very clean and beautifully decorated with very nice bedding/linens in all the rooms. Our family enjoyed the many amenities from the hot tub, pool table, golf cart rides to the beach, even the separate ice machine. The community pool was gorgeous and water was crystal clear and we enjoyed a great lunch there too. The pool is a quick walk down the street and beach just a couple minutes more. We often relaxed on the deck and watched the wildlife (geese, deer, turtles, birds...) Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood.
