The Carousel House was clean and the beds were comfortable. The panoramic view never gets old. If you want a short walk to the beach, this is not your best choice. If you want a large, sandy beach for your dog to enjoy, this is it!

This home has a 'million dollar' view. It is older, but I can honestly say it was one of the most well-kept homes we have ever stayed in. A new TV and better internet service would be nice - but not a deal-breaker for us older folks!

The location is outstanding. Being just the two of us, it is perfect size. Having a dog, it is a perfect location.

The Carousel is a charming dog-friendly, multi-sided cottage located at the west end of the island: Ergo, incredible sunset viewing from the wrap-around deck and/or inside from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The house provided a cozy late winter get-away --just what we wanted. As a photographer, I could not have asked for a more perfect subject matter setting with ever-changing photo opts. A wet-suited para-sailing trio and their colorful sails were fantastic subjects! The Sunday-to-Sunday booking is such a logical plan, especially for those of us traveling long distances. The owners obviously enjoy their house and keep it in good order. With a bit of imaginative musing, we had a sense of being honored quests who'd received a welcoming personal invitation to visit.

Based on the pictures and other comments, I had very high expectations for this space. My experience FAR exceeded my expectations. Wonderful space - warm, cozy, intimate. The view is SPECTACULAR. Every sunrise, day, sunset, moonrise, and evening was breath-taking. Thank you for sharing your space.

This is a little gem of a rental!!! Killer location, the property is so efficient and ingenious, that was part of the fun of being there. Carousel is minimalist, but who cares when you are RIGHT AT THE POINT, and we had everything we needed. Linen service is nothing but outstanding, Fully wrap-around decks (recent?) we think address the comments about 'no shade'. We just moved around to adjust to the time of day. We would definitely rent this again!!

We spent a week at the Carousel and it was wonderful. The room was very clean and the supply of linens and towels was really nice. The beds were comfortable and the extra blankets in the closet were a nice touch and needed in February. Everything we needed like toaster, dishwasher (maybe not needed but nice), vacuum cleaners, dinnerware, silverware and furniture etc. was just right. There were so many nice features but here's three that stood out and made us very happy. First the view was spectacular, second the beach was fabulous and third (others may also value this) was the showers in both bathrooms were super powerful and with plenty of hot water - wow a great shower is a blessing sometimes. I also want to mention that one of the Bluewater employees named Simon had stopped by for another reason but he took the opportunity to help us unload the back of a truck full of belongings - how great is that. Thank you Simon, you started our stay on a great high and it was wonderful the whole 7 days.

There was no disappointment when we arrived. This house is exactly as pictured on the website - comfy house, gorgeous views, and you couldn't be any closer to the beach. We would definitely stay her again. Cindy

We love the peace and quiet of the place. It is absolutely beautiful to see the Sunset. We walk the beach and love every minute of our walk. The Carousel is unique and we love this to.
