We really liked the location of the house. We've been coming to EI for over 20 years and this was the first time staying on the Sound side. But at 9th Street, the island is so narrow that that a walk to the beach wasn't much farther than the walk to end of our dock :)

We love being on the sound but with a close walk to the beach. Cloud 9 gives us the best of both worlds with enough room for our kids, their spouses and a grandchild. The house has a great screened porch and lots of outdoor space to enjoy on the deck and walkway/dock to the sound.

This is a great location, not only sound front with a great pier, but right on the corner with a direct walk of only one block to the beach access. We had a great week with our children and grandchildren, who probably enjoyed it the most. There are things like bikes. beach chairs and a beach buggy that are available but not listed so we needlessly brought bulky items with us. Even though there are 6 TV's there is no cable/regular TV. Everything must be accessed via ROKU or FIRE STICK. That was unexpected, so if you are older and used to just being able to turn on a TV to watch your favorite news or network show, you'll be disappointed, so be aware.

What a wonderful stay we had at Cloud 9. It was our first time staying soundside and it was amazing. The dock was amazing to have and having the kayaks and paddle board were perfect. The house was so well kept and had everything we needed... the wagon to take to the beach, lots of beach chairs, corn hole, etc. We LOVED our stay!

Our family loved Cloud 9! The location is perfect as the beach is a short walk across the street, easy access to the running trail, and we loved being on the sound. The view was beautiful from the dock, especially in the mornings and evenings. The house was clean, very well stocked, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board, game area, and projector. The kids loved the crab cages and my husband (who does not cook) made some delicious crab cakes from the crabs we caught! It was a wonderful week at Emerald Isle and we would definitely stay at Cloud 9 again!

The location and views are wonderful, we enjoyed our coffee and meals at the table on the deck while we watched the sunset, the sound, or the ocean. We really enjoyed the kayaks, we had a blast with them! The projection screen was enjoyable, and there is lots of room so we were not crowded at all. The ping pong table was a great addition, we used it quite a bit. The layout of the home was very nice, lots of access doors. It felt like home away from home!

We loved Cloud 9 because it was close to the beach, had a dock to fish off of, allowed our pets to stay with us and had many amenities that other homes do not have. We had kayaks, boogie boards, chairs, an umbrella and many other extras. We all said we would stay at this home again.
