Glasshouse West is an Oceanfront Duplex with 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths located in the picturesque Emerald Isle, on the Southern Outer Banks of North Carolina. Breathtaking views and fantastic locale make this vacation rental a perfect place to spend your hard-earned vacation! In addition to the incredible views, this home has a Hot Tub.

this was our second stay at Glasshouse West. we love the location the place is nice the porch is our favorite amenity. the interior is good, the new flooring is great, no more carpet upstairs or in the bedroom down stairs.
The focus is on the beach and outdoors. the new grill is a huge plus over the previous stay.

Ocean front; reasonable rates; nicely decorated, plenty of cooking utensils, dinnerware and silverware. Need larger refrigerator and an ice maker.

We love this house because of the location on the beach and all the major living areas are on the first floor. Only one set of steps to climb.

Loved the location (ocean front & not far from the stores). Each bedroom has a view of the ocean, rooms upstairs have the best view. Had everything you would need in the kitchen for cooking. We rented w/our friends who had the other side, it was neat to see the differences b/w the 2 properties & great for the kids.

The home we stayed at was a great location and was in fairly good shape. The deck has some nails sticking up that need to be attended to and the deck is close to needing to be replaced. While providing adironack chairs was a nice touch, they were made out of material that was not comfortable to sit on for any length of time. On the positive side, the kitchen was very well stocked and there were even some supplies left from the previous people. There was only one clock in the house other than the stove so clocks in the bedrooms would be a nice addition. Also, a list of the TV channels and what stations they were would have been helpful. The dish TV had so many channels so it was hard to find our favorites. This house allowed pets and we brought 2, but the neighbors on the other side had 3 despite the policy of only 2 allowed. This made for a little bit of extra noise and trying to keep them from being outside at the same time. The keyless entry is convenient but frustrating until you figure out the pace of entering the numbers. I would rather just have a key! But all in all, our stay was great and we will definitely be back!

We loved Glass House West. The nice spacious living area, large windows looking out to Ocean was great. We all enjoyed having a bedroom with an ocean view, along with the beautiful views on upstairs and downstairs decks with unencumbered views of ocean. Cheerful colors, nice flooring,furniture and art work and direct access to ocean was awesome. Great place!

The location was fantastic!

The house is older so there are a few updates and repairs needed, but that's minor.

Loved that it's a pet friendly house :)

THE DECK WAS NICE AND BIG OUR DOG LOVED RUNNING ON IT, WE BOTH LOVED THE SWING!! FISHING WAS BAD, BUT THE SUN WAS AWSOME. FEW STEPS TO THE BEACH, THAT WAS GREAT!!! MOST PLACES HAVE TOO MANY STEPS.
