The home was perfect for us with young children and dogs. The gates provided any accidental release of kids or dogs and allowed the adults an opportunity to relax without worry. The pool and hot tub were wonderful for entertainment.

The home is beautiful, with room for 9 family members. We had gorgeous balconies, including some off of the bedrooms, to gaze out into the ocean. The home contained everything we needed for our vacation, and it was clean when we arrived. We loved our vacation!

This house has wonderful porches and is right on the beach which gives amazing views of both sunrise and sunset in the winter! Very spacious house that fits our extended family.

Nice place. Loved the covered decks and walkway to beach that delivered us right on the beach without a long hike over hot sand. Beach was deep for games and water had very gradual dropoff that gave great waves for boarding. Plenty of paved parking out front. Nice layout for families. Vinyl cladding and composit decks and walkway were a nice change from splintery wood. Double dishwasher and 2nd fridge close by were great. Couple of maintenance issues but it is a rental after all and we will be returning.

We loved the views. Almost every room had a view of the ocean along with a small deck. The shared upper deck provides great views of the ocean and the lower deck had tons of seating. The house was in good condition with some nice up dates. We loved the carpet free floors and would recommend either replacing the carpet on the steps or better yet getting rid of the carpet completely. We would definitely come again to this house. The pool was huge and being to the side of the house offered privacy.

We loved the views, the decks, comfortable beds, and the beach access. We paid to have the pool heated, which is expensive, but it was well worth the money! We were in the pool for hours everyday, and it would have otherwise been far too cold to swim in in April. There were a few minor inconveniences, such as the lights on the stairs not working, and not having enough comfortable seating in the living room. But, overall it was a great experience. We would definitely go back!

This was a lovely home and we had a wonderful time. The heated pool was a big plus and the pool staff was on top of everything. The views were amazing and the beds were extremely comfortable. We played ping pong and enjoyed the quick beach access and hot tub. The open floor plan made it wonderful to entertain. The propertys Windows need a little TLC but we would return

The home had a wonderful layout for our large group. The expansive porches, with plenty of seating, allowed all of us to enjoy the view and time spent together. We would not hesitate to book this home again!

We have been renting in Emerald Isle since 1980 and as the family has grown up our needs have evolved. There are 5 grown children and grandchildren who have grown from infants to teenagers and adults. Some years the houses have been more comfortable than others, but this year was one of the best. We could cook inside and out and swim and relax on the decks or in the ocean or pool. This was a top notch one for us.

'Grandview' is the perfect name for this spectacular home because a 'grand view' is precisely what you experience. Narrowing down what we loved most about this extraordinary oceanfront house would be too difficult. It's such a beautiful place decorated so tastefully inside and out with lots of room for everyone and all the amenities you'd need. We loved sipping our coffee on the decks in the mornings, dolphin watching, and enjoying those incredible ocean views. We had plenty of space for everyone to relax in the living room and so much available seating at the counters and tables for meals. Great pool, hot tub, kitchen, lovely bedrooms, and the ceiling fans throughout the entire house made it so breezy and comfortable! Our dogs loved running up and down the stairs, stretching out on the floor, and warming themselves on the deck. Best of all: those 5 oceanfront bedrooms with sliding screen and glass doors! Everyone could look out at the ocean from his/her own bed and fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. Outstanding home! The Rodarmels, Bakers, and Tinglers - 5/7-14/2017

The Grandview was awesome! We had 3 families. More than enough room for all. Wonderful views, pool and hot tub were just another plus! Check-in n and check-out were a breeze.

LOVED EVERYTHING !!!! could not have asked for a nicer house.very spacious and having 2 large outside decks along with each bedroom having a private balcony was nice. the high ceiling and open area inside make it feel like even when you are inside you feel as if you a right on the beach. the bluewater staff has been great beginning to end. we had a small child lock herself in a bedroom and within 5 minutes someone was there to get the door open. if only the clerk at gas station would sold me the winning powerball ticket, i would have bought this house. on a 1-10 rating scale, this house is a million

At the property, it was a very close walk to the beach and with children carrying beach toys and chairs this was a big plus. We loved the house which was very open and airy and the kids could run around and play. I love Bluewater and have been coming to Emerald Isle with my family for 25 years plus. Bluewater has never disappointed me with the superior customer service and lovely properties!

This is a beautiful property. Awesome views. Awesome deck that is great for bad beach days. Very nice pool....cold though, unless you heat it. Downside is a lot of shared bathrooms. Only one true private bath. All of the beds are comfortable except twins in downstairs game room are very soft. One of the most important reasons we continue to book this property is that they allow pets. We have an elderly dog that we never leave anymore and she loves Grandview and the beach! Highly recommend this property

Hi Zena,
I'm not sure if you remember me or not, but me and 12 of my 'senior'
friends rented the Grand View for a week back in the spring (April). I have wanted to write since the day I got home, but as we all do, I procrastinated until now.
First of all I want to thank YOU for your help, friendliness, Professionalism and being fun and laughing with us.
The house was awesome and everyone who came fell in love with it. It was so perfect for our group. Thank you again for picking it out for us.
Also staying the week (instead of the 3 days) was well worth the extra pennies it added up to be. Those who didn't get to stay but the weekend were really sorry.
The most important situation occurred when one of the ladies dropped her gold earring on the bathroom floor and it bounced and landed behind and under the bathroom sink cabinet. We called the office and within an hour the nicest man of all came in to try to retrieve it for her. He actually came back twice or three times to no avail. He said that after we left he would remove the cabinet and get the earring and send it to my friend.
I had actually forgotten about it; when I went to Raleigh Monday for a meeting with the same friend and she said that the earring had indeed been mailed back and how 'tickled' she was. She went on & on about your service and the gentleman who retrieved her earring.
I want your group to know how pleased everyone was with the service and the experience. I am hoping to get them back in a couple of years as we will go to the mountains next year.
I know for a fact a couple of the ladies were planning on coming back for a family vacation and were going to call Bluewater for accommodations.
Being in the 'hospitality' business, I appreciate everything you did for us.
It was a new experience for me as well. When you live here you don't get to see the other side or how people perceive our area. I was very proud!!
