Sea Watcher

The house we rented - Sea Watcher - has become our favorite beach home away from home. It's the perfect size for us with our 3 sons. All of the features and amenities are provided to enable us to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Emerald Isle. Special note about the comfort of the living room furniture - we watch movies, play games, and are able to have fun in the evening.

The views are spectacular and the living room is furnished with really comfortable chairs and a couch. This is our favorite beach house for sure. The bidet was great. Loved having an ice maker.

We loved the oceanfront location; the view is just incredible. It's so easy to walk out to the beach with our stuff and to be able to come back and forth easily was great, especially with a baby. The house was decorated well, and we love all the updates. We loved the four chairs near the windows! Perfect for relaxing and for rocking the baby! The dog bowls were also a nice and welcome touch.

We loved the Sea Watcher So close to the ocean. The house was great. An older home with lots of updates. New appliances. The floors were easy sweep up ! Loved the king beds ! We also really liked the area being farther from the pier with not many other Va stop ers near by. We've been vacationing on EI for more than 30 years (use to own a home there). Since we've been renting I have to say this house was one of our favorites

Location is fantastic and it has great layout and deck. No clutter and no carpet for clean feel, which is also great for pets!

Great house!!! Nicely decorated, great layout and beautiful view! Kitchen was lacking for those of us that choose to cook. I purchased a cookie sheet (and left it for the next renters) as the one on site was literally rusted and fortunately I took my own casserole dish. Otherwise it was a fabulous retreat and a great place at the beach!

Wonderful ocean views! This house has everything you need and will accommodate a large family. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of your basic kitchen needs. We would love to stay again.

Sea watcher was wonderful. We loved that the kitchen and social areas could be closed off to the bedroom wing. The views and windows allowed constant companionship with the beautiful ocean. We never bothered packing drinks or snacks for the beach because the house is just steps away. The house was very clean and well appointed!

Sea Watcher is a lovely home with gorgeous views of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return. Our only suggestion would be to consider replacing the mattress in the master bedroom and doing a little kitchen inventory to see what could be added (a cutting board, for example). The screen on the door also needs major work!

The Sea Watcher has the best view of the ocean on the island. It's a perfect house for an extended family, with a large common area and private spaces for everyone. Amazing kitchen and four different shower locations are a plus. Bravo!

The large windows facing the ocean provide a panoramic view so you are 'at the beach' even when you are inside. Being able to see the waves and wildlife was the best part of the time there. We loved the tangerine paint on the outside The interior layout is really well thought out. All on one level but you can close a door and separate living area from bedroom area so it stays quiet for those who are sleeping if others are watching tv or listening to music. The central room has a high ceiling bringing in lots of light and has two sitting ares, one for tv and the other for reading and looking out at the ocean so you have a choice. Also two tables, one for the meals, and the other for games or work. These features make this room very multi-purpose. Bedrooms are well appointed and bathrooms large. Kitchen is easy to work in and integrated into living area. This is a lovely house that looks small on the outside but uses space efficiently. We would happily stay there again!

The Sea Watcher name is so appropriate for this home, great views from living areas and deck. The house was very comfortable for our whole family and met all our needs. I appreciated not having to navigate a lot of stairs, especially to get to the beach. We would definitely rent this comfy cottage again.
