We have stayed in 301 West for many years, LOVE the updates! We love the location and it is perfect for our family.

We loved the view the best! The condo was very clean, color scheme was nice, and we appreciated the TV's being high up so that they were away from the kids!

The view and location of this condo was fantastic. The access to the beach with showers was well maintained. The beach itself was clean and not overly crowded. Lifeguard patrolled via jeep on the beach, While the furniture was a bit eclectic, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the condo was very clean upon arrival. The condo's proximity to shops and biking/walking path was a plus. The place made for a wonderfully relaxing week.

The location and views are fantastic. I did encounter some minor issues such as the coffee maker did not make/keep coffee hot.. I bought a new one and am leaving it behind. The master bath has a tub, but has to be filled by the shower head which is rather inconvenient. On the positive side location, views, easy access to the beach, pet friendly and the master bed is extremely comfortable.

The house/condo was nice. Not dirty, but needed some upkeep. The shower in the master badroom needs some work. The pull-up to turn the shower on was stuck in the up position, so when you turned the water on, if you weren't careful, your head got wet whether you wanted it to or not. The plastic or water proof mattress pads are handy when dealing with young children, but noisy and hot for an adult sleeping on that bed. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck lot. It was very private as this unit is kind of on a corner of the building. I would rent this unit again even with the minor items I mentioned above.

We were really happy with our stay! The room is right next to the elevator. It was bigger than we were expecting! The view from the patio was perfect!

Having the sight and sound of the surf right in front of us, with a porch that was protected from the sun most of the day.

The layout of this property was great. View was nice with easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants and grocery. Definitely would rent this again.

We vacation to Emerald Isle every year and Sound of the Sea is a wonderful complex to stay. Our unit 301W, was nice making our trip an enjoyable one. Overall, the unit was clean, nicely decorated and situated well for a family of 6; It was a bit cluttered with small collectables, extra small tables and chairs, and the kitchen oddly stocked with kitchen/glassware. The furniture could use some updating or replacing, but again, overall a nice unit with a beautiful view. We would rent again.

We always love coming to Emerald isle. This property is very comfortable and meets our needs. Wish there was a hot tub!!
