The apartment is lovely and the hosts are wonderful. Romantic setting in the dunes, and the beach is the best on the whole island - sand like silk, super clean and a dream for every shell collector!

We love the point area. The location of Townsend is perfect for walking a loop from the public access back to the house.

This rental was the perfect size for myself, my husband, and our dog. The home was clean and had everything that we needed. The owners are very nice and we enjoyed talking to them. We loved the home's location at the point. We accessed the beach both from the front of the home and a nearby street access. It was a quick drive to stores on EI as well as Swansboro. We definitely recommend booking Townsend!

It was larger than expected and very clean. Perfect location on the point. I fished while my husband kayaked. Best of all we were able to take our chocolate Lab with us. She had the best time playing every day in the ocean. We could hose her off and brush her outside while we showered, so convenient. The owners were friendly and offered us bikes. Great vacation!

The apartment was wonderful - perfect for my needs. Well equipped and very clean. The home owners were great - answered questions about the area and offered advice when I had car issues of where to go to have it repaired.
