Very comfortable house for 8. Plenty of seating in kitchen and living room. Big deck facing ocean. Lots of light and great view with the big windows. Owner even called to make sure we were having good time and had maintanance issues resolved! Great vacation!

Nice duplex in family friendly area of Emerald Isle. Best described as nice and cozy. It was also quiet, peaceful and relaxing; everything a vacation should be. It had beautiful views of the beach and ocean and even on Labor day weekend plenty of beach for our family to spread out on (no sitting on top of other beach goers necessary). It had one set of stairs up to the rental and another down to the beach which made unloading and carrying items to/from the car/beach easy. That also made it easier on my parents (and their knees). Overall, we had a great time in this duplex at EI and very much enjoyed our vacation.

plenty of 'living space'...great deck with awesome view of the beach...very short walk from deck to sand....location to restaurants and shops excellent...right in the middle of everything. Beach was private, quiet, families only
