Big Kahuna

We loved the Big Kahuna! It was so clean and well maintained. There is a love of this home that shows in the upkeep! It is nestled in the woods, but it's so easy to access the beach. Ocean views from the upper balcony for those who want to enjoy the ocean or sun, but stay and vacation at the beach house. A lovely porch for early coffee and shade to enjoy the wildlife early in the morning, and all day. We would recommend this house to anyone!

We visited in mid January. We found the house to be well located, warm and cozy, and a very reasonable price.
Although we were 2 couples, the house would be ideal for families on a budget.

We booked our trip very last minute and all of our interactions with Bluewater representatives were very positive. They were very helpful and friendly. The house was in an excellent location and comfortably accommodated our group. Although the weather was a little chilly in February, the bright colors of the home and the proximity to the beach still provided us with the sense of being away. We would certainly recommend Bluewater and will be booking with them again soon!

The Big Kahuna pleasantly surprised us! The house is very spacious, immaculately clean, and up to date located in a nice and quiet area. The location is perfect just a few steps to soft, clean sand and clear waters. My family vacations to many different beaches but this beach house and location is our favorite now. We will definitely be renting this property again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

In spite of a hurricane and a few things to the house, we had a wonderful vacation. Next year I'm hoping to spend two weeks instead of one.

Big Kahuna is in a great location with lots of greenery surrounding it and wonderful ocean breezes. The walk to the ocean is very short and you can see the ocean from the top deck. The lower deck is huge and has really comfy Adirondack chairs and a picnic table for eating outdoors. It is sunny sometimes and shady at others so it is a perfect place to hang out! The inside has a really good layout and the decor was just my style - 'shabby chic' with cool artwork, knicknacks and nice touches here and there. Washer/dryer was very convenient as was the outside shower for rinsing off the sand and salt. There was four of us so each of our sons had their own rooms which they liked, but it easily could have slept 6 to 8. Nice kitchen counter with stools for eating as well as BIG dining table. Only thing it needs is a sign with the name outside. Malaho, Big Kahuna!!
