Location was perfect away from town but close enough to go in for supplies. House was spacious. Loved having our dogs welcome to the property and the beach.

The home is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed all the ocean views!! It was wonderful to be able to bring our 2 golden retrievers with us. We'd definitely stay here again. We also loved the easy checkin/checkout with the keyless entry!

Excellent communication when booking, the week prior to checking in, and throughout our stay. House was ready shortly after 3pm which we greatly appreciated. Also very clean and exactly as listed.

This home is perfect for a family vacation. It was spacious, had plenty of room for everyone, is right on the beach and it is almost equidistant from the downtown areas of EI and AB and not far from the Aquarium and Moorehead City. PLUS we were able to bring our pooch too. The home has a great layout and great views from the main living level and the bedrooms.

Well appointed and laid out. Road floods. House doesn't. Decking in need of minor attention. A bit pricey, but recently remodeled inside to well above average. Renting again next year.

Views are spectacular. Elevator was a plus when checking out (Out of order when we moved in but fixed on Monday). Kitchen could use some sharper knives. Really enjoyed our week there and look forward to returning

Boardwalk is a wonderful house! We truly felt right at home the minute we walked thru the door. It was so nice to have beds already made and there were plenty of towels for our family! The remote control ceiling fans are great! All light switches and remotes are labeled which simplifies things! Kitchen was very well appointed! We did not have any small children in our group but if you do, there are 2 trash cans full of beach toys for your use! The deck was great with all the different seating options: loungers, rocking chairs, and a table. Views are awesome! We were more than pleased with this rental!

My family and I had the best time at the Boardwalk. The house was beautiful and you can't beat the views. I loved waking up every morning to those beautiful views. We also saw dolphins almost every day of our vacation as well. My daughters loved seeing the the dolphins and playing on the beach. We had our own personal beach as our backyard. The house is so close to the beach. The walkway was very short which was nice for my 72 year old mother. The elevator was a great bonus especially when bringing in luggage and groceries. The electronics were a little tricky to figure out at first but once we got it then everything was fine. The deck was a little worn, it could probably use a new stain but I'm sure being so close to the beach makes that a little difficult. I was really excited about the outside shower, but unfortunately the water pressure was really poor in the outdoor shower so we couldn't use it. There were so many beach toys, chairs, kites and bogey boards that the kids were never bored. My family and I would definitely stay at the Boardwalk again and again. It was great!

Boardwalk was VERY clean. Kitchen was modern. Elevator was very helpful for moving suitcases. The view was great, beach was clean. TV's, games, puzzles, and books were great. Like another review said, having toilet paper and hand soap already there when we rolled in was a nice touch. Having the unit come with linens and towels was great, too! So many pluses... we would rent here again in a heartbeat!

This home was exactly as shown on the Bluewater web site. Our family had a great time and enjoyed the location of the house. Having the large glass sliding doors in the three bedrooms that were on the oceanfront side of house was a real plus. The well furnished kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking. The beach toys and the outside shower for removing sand were useful. One member of our family would not have been able to enjoy this vacation if there had not been an elevator. She is unable to easily use stairs. Morning and evening walks on the beach were very relaxing. Two of us brought our bicycles and had a wonderful time on the bike trails and back road of Emerald Isle. We rented kayaks from Hot Wax Rental in Emerald Isle(a great company polite and provided service). It was fun to kayak in the sound enjoying the wild life and peaceful environment. We appreciated the shopping areas and small restaurants in Emerald Isle and the Swansboro area.

This is was probably the cleanest and nicest property we have ever stayed at during our 15+ years of visits to Emerald Isle. It was comfortable, clean, nicely furnished and decorated and had the extra touches like the hand soap in the bathroom and a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom upon arrival. Completely an awesome and relaxing week at the beach.

Boardwalk is a lovely property, with nice furnishings and a great location. The cleanliness and decoration were perfect. However, it was never stated anywhere that the elevator access is only from the outside of the property. This information definitely should be in the home description along with a photo. If we had known this fact, we would have never rented this home.
More specific information should be outlined regarding entry into the home, bathroom specifics, door sill heights, etc. so that renters that are handicapped can make an informed decision about whether your property will be acceptable to their needs. When you walk into the door is too late. I have been in the travel industry for over 30 years, and more handicapped individuals are traveling than ever before, and are looking for experiences and properties that match their needs. By providing enough information you can really make a difference.

Boardwalk is a gorgeous home and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Only suggestion would be to amp up the quality and quantity of kitchen items a bit, and add a few rockers and an awning to the front deck so the stunning view can be enjoyed all day, every day!!!

The home was furnished better than any home I have rented in the past. Glad the pans were not all nonstick with scratched. Bath and bedrooms all had Kleenex and hand soap. Sheets were comfortable. Kitchen was stocked nicely. Everything was great!

Beautiful home. The view was spectacular from every room. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We also needed the elevator and it made access handicap friendly. Our little yorkie also loved it!
