Bites and Blues in Downtown Morehead

My husband and I have made it a point to make our way up and down the street until it is more like a saunter because we are way too full. The food is always delicious! When else are you going to be able to eat from all of these restaurants in even a year here as a local. With two small children, that would never happen for us. So, we hired a babysitter and visited our favorite event, Bites and Blues.

My father-in-law just so happened to be in town, so he got to enjoy the savory bites as well. I will say the coolest thing we saw that night was the double decker food truck. Who thinks of turning a red English double decker bus into a moving eatery! The ordinary does. They are actually renovating what used to be Sammy’s into a new downtown food hub. I cannot wait to see what they do to the place.

There was anywhere from coffee and mouse to surf and turf and crab cakes. We even had a bacon wrapped artichoke stuffed with goat cheese at Promiseland.
