BEHIND THE SCENES: FEEDING FRENZY

March 01, 2023, at 2:30 PM |$18-20| - NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, 1 Roosevelt Blvd, Pine Knoll Shores, NC, 28512

If you or your kids love the ocean and all the creatures that come from it check out this behind-the-scenes tour at the aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. You and your little ones will be able to visit animal holding, labs and help feed the fish. 

Ages 5 and up. Children 5-17 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

EMERALD CLUB CORNHOLE

March 01, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM – Recurring every Wednesday, at 6:00 PM – Emerald Club, 8102 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, NC 28594

Join Emerald Club every Wednesday for a cornhole tournament! This is a bring-your-own-partner tournament with a blind draw every other week. You may bring your own bags. The weekly prize is based on the number of teams that enter.

7TH ANNUAL SPRING FAMILY FESTIVAL

March 11, 2023, 10 AM |$15-20| Camp Albemarle 156 Albemarle Drive, Newport, NC 28570

Enjoy the 7th Annual Spring Family Festival! Activities include a toddler bounce house, obstacle course, carnival games, cookie walk, foam party, fire trucks, antique tractors, music, and more! Money raised from this event will benefit the Nature School at Camp Albemarle.

EMERALD ISLE ST. PATRICKS DAY FESTIVAL

March 11, 2023, 9 AM, 8700 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle, NC 28594

Fun for all ages, the St. Patrick’s Day Festival features live music, amusement rides, arts and crafts vendors, delicious food, and much more. There is a variety of foods, including funnel cakes, hamburgers, BBQ, and more.

On Friday, the night before the festival, it will be armband night for the amusement rides. Pay one price for the armband and enjoy unlimited turns on the amusement rides from 5-10 pm. No food or arts and crafts sales will take place Friday evening

CROATAN BUCK FIFTY

March 16-18th, 2023, 8 AM, |$170| Carteret County Speedway 501 Whitehouse Fork Rd, Swansboro, NC 28584

2023 ESCOFFIER DINNER SERIES

March 21, 2023, 5:30 PM |$125| 3915 HWY 70, Morehead City, NC 28557

Each year, three to four students are selected to work with Escoffier Chef friends in France for five weeks. When students return, they help plan and execute the Escoffier Chefs’ Dinners and teach current students techniques they learned while abroad.

Funding from the dinners pays for the students to participate in the French exchange program at no cost to them.
