Sharon Salmon, Atlantic Beach Realtor, grew up
in Southwestern Virginia but has spent most of her adult life in North Carolina. A state she has
come to love and proudly calls home. She began her real estate career in 1973 while working in
Panama City, Florida. After a year and a half, Sharon returned to North Carolina, where she began a
career in Property Management. She worked for large companies and property developers in Charlotte,
Greensboro, and Raleigh. She gave motivational and sales speeches for management companies and other
businesses. Sharon taught economics at the McKimmons Center in Raleigh as part of the program for
candidates seeking Certified Apartment Managers designation. She received her Property Management
Certification through the Institute of Real Estate Management in Chicago, Illinois. After retiring to
the Crystal Coast in 1989, Sharon Salmon opted to open a retail store on the Atlantic Beach Causeway
in 1996. She owned and operated her highly successful home decor retail store, Somethin’ Fishy,
for nine years. Retiring for the second time, Sharon wanted to return to her first career choice in
Real Estate.

I love touring homes and doing videos for buyers who can't be
present. This lets them see the home, ask questions and make an offer. Helping buyers and
sellers make me very happy. I met some of the nicest people; many have become friends as well as
repeat clients or referral clients. I do what I love, and I love what I do.
