From an early age, I recognized the importance of taking a different path and pursued an education at a magnet high school in Nashville, TN, emphasizing academic excellence. This drive led me to earn a degree in accounting from Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis). After five years in public accounting, I found myself seeking new challenges. I joined HCA Healthcare’s internal audit department, where I eventually became the Division Chief Financial Officer overseeing multiple hospitals and other healthcare operations across the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area.

After dedicating 26 years of my career to HCA Healthcare, working around the clock, and even during vacations, I finally decided it was time for a change. I have found joy in fishing, boating, kayaking, and property investing in retirement. Sharing these newfound passions with friends and family who visit brings me great pleasure. Living on the Crystal Coast has been a magnet for loved ones, and we eagerly anticipate hosting our adult children and grandchildren and becoming their Papa Wayne. Exploring the outdoors together and culminating the day with homemade pizzas is a cherished tradition.
